"Jenn and Brian's place is a great little wilderness hideaway and was just perfect for us. We love nature and the outdoors, and found just what we were looking for! Beautiful river out back with a nice big rock to sit on and relax, a campfire at night, and Jenn and her family were kind and sweet (it means so much when people are nice - fancy hotels with 'cold' reception areas are not for us - warm hospitality and a kind smile is what you get with Jenn's place). We stayed just one night but woke up (comfy bed too!) feeling refreshed and ready to go. If you want to get away from the city and noise and find a quiet retreat this is the place for you!" 
"This place is a retreat just a few km away from the highway. The wildlife is amazing and there is a river right behind the cabin. Everything is very clean - not fancy - and there is a big 'cookhouse' for making meals. Jenn, Brian and John-Michael are very welcoming!"

Although it was a more secluded location, it was fairly simple to get there (thanks to Jenn & Brian's descriptive directions!), I even got to see 2 moose on my way in and out! "I chose to come to Governor's Table Camp to hunt grouse and I couldn't have been happier. The very first day there, in the pouring rain, we were expertly guided by Jenn and Brian (owners of Governor's Table Camp). 20 plus flushes later, I and my friend (who is 84) were exhausted! But the best was yet to come; Jenn is a world class cook and the food is extraordinary, to say the least.

"A beautiful and truly Canadian experience. If you are looking for a gorgeous location off the beaten track, surrounded by stunning landscape and wilderness than look no further. The experience you will get staying at Jenn and Brian’s is hard to find these days. I’m a professional Canadian traveler and was looking for somewhere that reminded me of what it was like, growing up in Canada. You won’t find nicer hosts, who have better knowledge of the wilderness than these two. You won’t find a nicer environment to relax and meet some nice, genuine people. Don’t expect a beautiful 5 star cabin, but do expect a true Canadian experience the kind that will either give you fond memories or an example of what Canadians are known for. Honesty, openness, nice, relaxed and welcoming people. The location is remote but that’s what makes it special, bears, deer, moose, turkey, fish, and amazing woods are what you’ll find. Bring what you absolutely can’t live without and get prepared to enjoy Canada as most people expect it to be. I personally recommend bringing bug spray if you don’t enjoy mosquitoes, and food you would like to share. A sleeping bag if your not used to cold countries but everything else you will find. We will be visiting again, and made new friends here and we can’t wait!"
